Fl/GA Series opener brings 240 riders to NFMX

Ideal weather and excellent track conditions greeted everyone for the march 18th series opener at NFMX. Almost 250 riders from six states competed for a top spot in the points chase.
In the premier Expert class, former factory rider Brian Gray had his hands full with vet rider Lee Tatham and Calif transplant Cory Gibbons the 22 yr old Gray road an enspiring ride on his RM-125 against the larger 450 machines. Tatham sliped away with the first moto win,Gibbons second Gray third... In the second moto Gray traded his old 125 for a CR450F and motored away with the win Gibbons took second and the overall win...
No one was hurt in the 46 motos and 10 practices and despite drought conditions the crew kept the track nearly dust free ...second round at Dirt Farm April 1st see you there!! Alan
